I'm 23 years old, live in Brooklyn, New York. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia and lived in Ukraine until I was 11. Childhood was filled with fairy tales and make believe during below-freezing snow days in a city winter. Fields and forests of all things nature in a rural Ukrainian village in summer. Music, color, and hidden relationships inspire me. I find beauty in patterns of plain everyday things. I spend a lot of time alone drawing, so I forget how to talk. Listen to me with your eyes :)

My art has many sides, sometimes I want to create beauty with soft colors, other times I get symbolic with thin pen lines. It fluctuates with moods, and what kind of inspiration visits. I cannot plan art completely, as they become independent of me in their process. I also don't like corners.

Whatever is on the board or easel at this moment, one thing I have promised - to be true and honest with it, love and believe in it. If the left-brained logical side numbs my hand, I invite intuition and work towards uniting the mind and the brain.

The world is multi-dimensional, and my work reflects that as I live on paper. From whatever scale or time things visit me, I study and appreciate them by translating them into an appropriate medium. The little drawings I list are like beads on a string, or stones that build a path to bigger paintings that are slowly growing once they're ready to be picked. It's a joyful journey, constantly evolving, and never ending.
