Me and my husband-May in Tennessee

Hello Everyone! 

 Thank you for taking time to look at my About Me Page.  My name is Michelle,  I live in Tennesee-I have lived here most of my life. My husband's name is Chris-he is originally from Connecticut. We have three little girls-they are absolutely amazing-our pride and joy, they are 6, 3 and 2.  The girls are a real handful and they make life pretty crazy. We love hiking, I would say that is definitely our favorite family activity. Any free time we have we will be together doing something outside-I love to garden. I have been collecting all kinds of different vintage things since I was about 10, I am in my early thirties now. I first started collecting vintage hats. I also love vintage pottery-I have a wicked collection of vintage flower pots-mainly McCoy. I really love vintage clothing and of course my real passion is for vintage lingerie. I usually sell vintage slips, nightgowns, dressing gowns and panties. I have several brands that I really like with Vanity Fair probably being my favorite, I love Van Raalte slips-I think they are not appreciated enough-they are great quality.  The most important thing I have learned over the years about vintage lingerie is TAGS, TAGS, TAGS-they make it pretty easy to date the piece. I still buy pieces without the tags-it they are unusual or if they seem to be of very good quality.

     I have been buying and mostly selling on ebay for about 5  years. I really enjoy ebay, it has been a great opportunity for me to do what I love-hunt for more great vintage finds and spend time with my girls. I really want everyone to be happy with their purchase. I have bought items from ebay and never received them or I received things that were definitely not as described-this does not make for a pleasureable experience. I do not want anyone to have to feel that disappointed feeling when they buy something from me. If I have missed anything or misrepresented something, let me know-I must be one of the easiest people to get along with. If you have any questions, please let me know.

     Buy with confidence from me, I like to keep a positive feedback rating. All my items come from a smoke free home, but because most of the things I list are vintage, they may have come from a smoking home in their previous life. Because I have small children I avoid cigarette smoke like it is the plague, and try not to buy anything that smells like smoke-if it does I will definitely list that in the item description. I want you to be happy with your purchase. ANY QUESTIONS, means any questions. Please let me know if are unsatisfied with your item or if I have missed something when listing your item-I am very human.

     Payment or payment information is expected within 3 days of auction end, by this I mean-if you are sending a money order mark the item as payment sent and email me to let me know that it is on the way-I will email you when payment arrives. If something else comes up and you can not make payment within 3 days please let me know. I am really easy to get along-I know I keep saying that, but it is the truth and I really hate leaving negative feedback.

     This is just a quick note about shipping-that's a joke I usually ship using the most cost effective method-which is sometimes the slowest shipping-that is how I keep my shipping fees reasonable. For the U.S. packages should arrive within 2 to 5 days of the mail date-I try to print all of my labels from PayPal, so you will receive an email with a delivery confirmation number. Please make sure that you address matches what ebay has on file, otherwise I can not print your shipping label(I will have to ship from the post office-which will slow down the process). International packages will be shipped using the most cost effective method as well, most packages arrive in the UK in about a week, other parts of the world take a little longer-sometimes up to 6 weeks-if you want me to ship using a faster  method, just email me for a quote. I don't know why, but packages to Australia seem to take the longest-I think they go by row boat. I always ship discreetly! With all of that being said, if you have any questions about shipping just let me know. I ALWAYS COMBINE SHIPPING FOR FREE-ONLY PAY SHIPPING ON THE FIRST ITEM, I wish I could find more sellers that offered this kind of deal-sometimes the shipping cost are outrageous.

     My auctions are all PRIVATE, which means I am the only one who sees your user ID. I only leave feedback if you want me to leave it for you, which means I will not leave feedback until you leave feedback for me first. I have had several people request that I not leave feedback-I use to leave feedback for everyone as soon as their item was paid for, so now I wait until I receive feedback.

I usually list my items using terms to describe the condition as GOOD VINTAGE, VERY GOOD VINTAGE, EXCELLENT, OR LIKE NEW. I refer to the condition as being: 

• 
  "GOOD VINTAGE", meaning it has some signs of use and some possible flaws which I will list; 
  
• "VERY GOOD VINTAGE", meaning very minimal signs of use and only the very slightest flaw; 
  
• "EXCELLENT", meaning no real signs of use and no flaws; 
  
  
• "LIKE NEW" meaning absolutely no signs of use.
