Michael Allen Loftis was born on Thanksgiving day,Thursday November 26th,1953,in Tahlequah,Oklahoma,in a 1 room shack my grandpa Ben Jones buildt himself.I am the 12th child of 13 children.I have 8 bigger brothers,and 3 bigger sisters and 1 little sister.Our parents were George Washington Loftis and Flosie Muriel(Jones)Loftis.My whole family were split up by Oklahoma adoptions in January 1953.I grew up never seeing or knowing 5 of my brothers and sisters.But then,after over 50 years missing,i did finally find 4 of them.And now,i still look for one older brother.Before his Oklahoma adoption,his name was Lester Neal Loftis.He was born on October 26th,1950,in Oklahoma City,Oklahoma.I have written a short story book about the LOFTIS family adoptions.It is called "The Long Journey Home",and it is available here: http://stores.lulu.com/mloftis50 Anyone who may know of or about my brother Lester Neal Loftis,please email me here: MLoftis50@hotmail.com .
