ABOUT ME... Hi! WELCOME to my little corner of eBay. My name is Jacque Anderson and I live in Madison, WI with 3 dogs...2 Collies and 1 chocolate Labrador. I have been involved with crafting my entire life, but I didn't find rug hooking until September 2001. And, as we are all fond of saying, once I encountered it, I was 'hooked'!!! I am a Certified Veterinary Technician, working a 3/4 position in the medical records department at the University of WI Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Up until a few years ago, I worked in the Critical Care Unit at the VMTH. After an injury - and subsequent surgery - to my knee, I was no longer able to carry on in that position. The GOOD thing about all of that is, with working less hours, I became more involved with all things related to rug hooking. Any free time that I have (after training/playing/exercising the dogs, that is!) is spent hooking rugs, dyeing woolens and designing patterns. I've recently gotten into primitive fixins', etc., so keep watching this store for a new template showcasing my offerings! I specialize in hand-dyed woolens and woolen bundles for rug hooking, penny rugs and all of your wool projects. I use only 100% wool, most of which comes from the Dorr Mill Store and Rebecca Erb's Wool Studio. In my eBay store, I offer a variety of hand-dyed woolens, patterns and wooden basket rug hooking kits. On occasion, I offer finished rugs...and more! ONE THING YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME... I am a music addict! I LOVE classic rock! The radio or cd player is ALWAYS on, and as many would be happy to tell you, I am nuts about Led Zeppelin and Robert Plant! (okay, the word I've heard most often is 'obsessed'...{sigh}). I had the BEST idea the other day...a great way to tie my love (okay, okay...obsession!) for all things Led Zep together with my rughooking. Have you figured it out, yet? THE DOGS... Here I am with the 3 collies...Tango, Allegra and Cruiser. Sadly, Cruiser died 2/07...Forever in my heart...May he rest in peace. And, here is my current 'brown dog', Tag.
