Some of My Favorite Beads

Hello!

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to learn a little about me.

My name is Lora McLaughlin, I am a Lampwork glass artist and I am happiest when people are happy with my beads here on ebay. 

I chose the name ALORA to sell my beads, because I want people who see my beads to to say, "WOW! That must be A Lora Bead!"  :)

I live in Hurricane, Utah, a small town, very close to Zion National Park.  There is a lot of natural beauty here to be inspired by. 

I took my first lampwork class almost two years ago and have been mesmerized by molten glass ever since.  Day or night I am dreaming about beads or making them!!!  

I have always had my hands in one creative medium or another, however, there has never been anything else that captivates me, like Lampworking.

With the help of my family, I now have a Lampwork glass studio in what used to be our dining room!  It is very cozy and close to all the action in our busy home. 

It doesn't take much to describe where most of my time is spent... Family, Friends, Beads, Books and Being Outdoors.

I have met some very terrific people and gifted artists, while selling my beads.  Thanks to everyone for your wonderful feedback!  I truly appreciate it. :)

 I give a little piece of my heart away with each bead that finds a new home.  I trust all you amazing artists, to take good care of them.

I also LOVE to see the creations people come up with, when they incorporate my beads into their designs!  Please feel free to show off your work!

***Just a Note***

I am taking a few weeks off this summer to enjoy my little kids, they are growing up too fast!...

I'll be back soon! Watch for me again in the fall.
