About Me


I have been sewing and crafting since I was a little girl.  My Grandma would give me fabric scraps and I would try to make quilts out of them.  I used to make all of my own clothes and when my daughter was born, I would make all of hers, too.  She always had something new on.  I absolutely LOVE sewing.  I am always on the look-out for a new pattern! My favorite is Raggedy Ann.  My favorite part about making a doll is when I get to dress her and put on her face and hair.  I feel that is when she really takes on her own personality.  In fact, most of the time I don't even know what kind of outfit she will wear until I get her face and hair on.  That decides what she will wear.  I guess little girls never really do grow up, do they:))!  I take great care and pride in everything I make, one item at a time.   All of my creations  come to you from my smoke/pet free home. I give all my talent to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Without Him I can do nothing!!  Thank you for taking the time to read "About Me".  Check out my website at www.picketfenceprimitives.com.  There is always something new between my website and Ebay.  Happy Shopping!!
