I'm a lifelong automobile afficionado with a NASCAR driving background. My father was a mechanic driver at Indy in the 1920s, so it was in the genes. My biggest passion is classic & antique cars, and racing memoribilia. I also have and collect Lionel toy trains.
My wife is a writer, a book collector, a crafter, and an antique buff. She makes and sells ceramics - including custom sculpted orders; restores and sells antiques of all kinds; writes and sells non-fiction, poetry and historical novels. She collects vintage books in the same genres, and the classics. She has a special interest in American History.
After decades of having a two collector household and both inheriting collectibles, we recently moved from our 11 acre property with numerous storage buildings to a 1 acre property with only a 3 car garage and a workshop. We need to downsize our collections; and then of course, add new selective projects once we have room.
