Welcome! I might be a short-order auto restorationist, and have decided to become a Robin Hood to the auto restoration subculture by locating old classics in self-service wrecking yards, and salvaging whatever is mint and usable. The only thing that I do not have is a facility and the financial backing to run such a place. The pic below is what I spot randomly, which serves as a reminder of what shouldn't belong in a salvage facility - on death row, ready to be stripped and sent to the graveyard in the sky. |

The Emissary's Mission Statement In some cases, I would post rare items that might be of interest for an auto restoration. It's a shame to see a classic automobile being crushed and recycled for nothing, and this is why someone has to intervene. |
This Emissary does not confess his sins in temple or church; he does it in the salvage yard. Someone has to do the dirty deed and return the favor.
Please bid to own, even if it's an auction for a close friend; this is not a TV game show like The Price is Right. After auction's end, the winner must contact me within 48 hours, and I will contact you with information after the close of the auction. I will leave negative feedback for nonpaying deadbeat bidders, as well as ban and/or block nonpaying deadbeats. My rule is simple: SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY PLEASE!! Do NOT bid if you don't plan to pay; if anyone bids on the item, U, or if U act on behalf of another party, own it. Anyone who places a bid on any merchandise: the bid is a legally binding contract to purchase the item. I DO contact eBay via filing a nonpaying bidder warning and subsequently file a case with SquareTrade in the event that the winning bidder is unresponsive right after seven days. In the event that a winning bidder is unresponsive (exc. for TX residents) - the winner is subjected to auction forfeiture where the deadbeat forfeits the auction right after I submit a final value credit fee after 17 days (including the initial filing of a nonpaying bidder warning as stipulated by eBay rules). Three strikes and you're off eBay 4EVER. See below for my policy on leaving negative feedback. I will leave NEGATIVE feedback for those who don't pay to the fullest extent of eBay policy and Texas law (if the transaction does occur within the State of Texas)! I do contact the local District Attorney and Constable in the event that an eBay auction ends up in the hands of a deadbeat. Due to the rash of nonpaying deadbeats with 'outstanding' negative feedback, and/or individuals with less than 5 positives, I reserve the right to cancel and/or retract bids for those with a past history of nonpayment/deadbeats. I do accept PayPal transactions, besides the traditional check/money order payments (there are longer delays with traditional check/MO payments - checks that are mailed to my address will have to clear, and this has led to shipping delays). If you can't pay for the item, let me know and may work with you. I reserve the right to end this auction early and cancel all bids, this is within eBay rules. My feedback rating speaks for itself, and would like to maintain it as a legitimate entrepreneurship.
Regarding shipping, I use the following services - USPS, FedEx Ground, and GPX.
Funds from my auctions will go to my current tenured status as a freelance photojournalist/art car promoter in the Houston, TX area. My current status for holding both positions is that most of the advanced bookings and/or photo assignments are unpaid, and this website is the only revenue generator to finance my freelance assignments, as well as the Montrose Patriot art vehicle (initiated since October 2003), which has been a usual sighting in the Houston, TX area during parades and/or special events. For the past few years, I have auctioned off Chevrolet/GMC 1/2 ton truck rally rims along with derelict hubcaps usually found on the shoulder lanes within the Houston City Limits right after Safe Clear tows a disabled vehicle (e.g. flat tire) although what is located would be considered recycled material although my listings detail if the component can be reused for a daily driver. Since 10.21.01, the WestFest Purists Organization now accepts online donations. The online contributions serve a purpose - to maintain WFPO-owned websites (including Montrose Patriot Photography & Promotions), the Montrose Patriot art vehicle (formerly the WFPO Cruiser) (and art car beginning in September 2002), and scheduled appearances at rallies and/or demonstrations. Click below to donate $$$, if 'snail mail' is of no other alternative:
