I've been buying and selling on eBay for several years.  It's changed alot; but it's still one of the easiest shopping opportunities out there...you can find unique items and treasures ...often at a fraction of the price boutiques & speciality shops charge.  EBay allows me to connect buyers anywhere in the world with the wonderful things I've collected and found in my attempt to save & recycle the decadence of the past - and it's safe & easy...so again, welcome to my eBay place ~ please visit often & ask questions when you're here!

I previously worked in international insurance and banking, but have always had a deep interest and love for vintage items.

I wore my Dad's old DaVinci rayon shirts to grade school.  As a girl born in the mid fifties, I have memories of Mom's 1940's wool gab suits, Dad's  chromspun shirts,  my brother's Davy Crocket Racoon Cap, and all  the older cousins' in dazzling 50's party dresses & Fabian look sweater jackets...how I still wish I had those items (but at least I have the memories so I can find things just LIKE them).  

I was a pre-teen & teenager in the rebellious Hippie / Gypsy fashion times of the late 60s & early 70s... Janis Joplin hair ~ hand embroidered overalls ~ tie dyed things (their FIRST time around) ~ handcrafted jewelry & beads....the "Summer of Love" in fringed leather and paisley.  I handcrafted jewelry and sold it in shops and Saturday Markets; then took a side road into the 1940s Bonnie & Clyde style (thank God Mom still had a couple suits!).  Although I love the classic silhouettes that made Audrey Hepburn and Kim Novak shine onscreen, I also love the wild fancy of Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks and Jimi Hendrix.

My listings occasionally embrace new trends while primarly offering pieces from the past...I urge you to do the same in your wardrobe - the road's alot more enjoyable without fashion ruts!  Find what you love.  Find the pieces that express your passion and personality.  Properly care for them and inspire others by wearing them in both classic and new ways...REVEL or REBEL in YOUR look!  Unless you're in parochial school or working in uniform (God Bless our Troops!) you don't HAVE to wear someone else's idea of what goes together or looks right!
