What would you like to know about me? I am a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara. After graduation from college, I completed a management training program with the Bank of America, and worked in branch operations and an upscale banking unit. I also have business experience in the insurance industry, accounts payable, customer service and advertising. While in the insurance field, I obtained a Self-Insurer's Administrator Certificate from the State of California. I am also a NxLevel Graduate of the Small Business Development Center, where I learned about all aspects of owning a business. I have also taken additional 1 day courses in Government Contracting, Professional Sales, and Doing Business with City Agencies. Currently I am working with an OnRamp Consultant, working on building my Ebay business and taking E-Bay university classes. I have an on-line catalog I am working on to integrate into my e-bay store, or at least the most popular products. Off E-Bay I sell advertising, and developed my own direct mail magazine, targeting the business to business and business to consumer markets. I recently had my trademark approved for my magazine and will be offering on-line specials in my E Bay store to celebrate that.
I am also a cancer survivor, and as a result of treatment have developed allergies and sensitivities to different things, including some consumer products made with certain substances. As a result of that, I have decided to build an E-Bay business, where I have more control over what I am exposed to at work, and to sell eco-friendly, allergy-friendly and organic products to businesses and consumers, and to allow more time to spend with my daughter. From time to time I will also sell other items, including advertising trade from my clients.
