Camellias Watercolor

The desire to find a tangible way of expressing the awe
and wonder when seeing the many facets of nature, of
life, led me to the world of art. Painting in watercolor, oils  
and acrylic, the softness of a flower petal, the waning
light of late evening, or the quiet of early morning,
continues to bring the greatest joys and the greatest
challenges. 

I believe one of my responsibilities as an artist is to
question what I seek to impart in a painting, being
receptive to new thoughts, ideas, and experiences. 
It is this that challenges me to continually read, study,
and experiment. 

  

A Bit About Ann-

Ann attended several classes in oils and watercolor while
living in Alaska.  She is a member of Artists of Northwest
Arkansas (ANA), and several on-line art groups which
contribute to her education and growth as an artist.
