Hello to everyone I already know, and all the great new customers that I meet each week. I thought I'd take a bit of time to create an thrilling (I hope!) and fun ME page for YOU AND ME!
As far as my life in plastic, I've been collecting ALL FORMS of plastics, old and new steadily for the past few years pretty much endlessly. Wherever I go, I look for more, and hunt here on ebay with you. All kinds of bangle bracelets and rings are what I love best, and I love them all! I don't discriminate thinking only OLD is good. In fact, I take a look around ebay and I am shocked just how many items I know for a fact are brand new, and are being listed as vintage in the vintage category and an uneducated consumer is easy prey. Before you fall prey to a scammer, ask yourself how someone can have SO MANY of the same vintage item week after week from an "estate" for one example, BEFORE you bid. Some are so blatant I can't believe how ANYONE can miss it, but they do. It doesn't make much sense to me, and not all fly under the radar successfully but many do, so collect with caution. Being prolific in this area as a collector and your favorite seller of the best plastics I can offer from my collecting experience, I am sure to hold myself to the highest standard of honesty in this regard. So, as I always have before, will be sure to tell you if an item is truly vintage, and I NEVER pass off new items as old. Why should I? Why should YOU think it's only good if it's old vintage when the new plastics are in my opinion, far superior. I liken the progress of plastic, on to all the vast improvements that have been made and steps forward in the name of modern progress, the NEW plastics, ARE truly AMAZING. Actually, I love Modern plastics MORE for their bold size, incredible colors, and endlessly fascinating designs. Sure, I love my beautiful vintage bakelite bangles and rings, but when I look at my quite impressive collection that rivals any serious collectors out there, it's not nearly as exciting as my newer RESIN PLASTIC ones!! Today's modern Resin jewelry has been popular for a long time under it's former names, but it hasn't changed and it's STILL the number one perfect choice for people like me, who share my passion for bold, heavyweight, high quality seamless designs with a similar feel to the old bakelite bangles, but without the chemicals or cost. Resin is my hands down favorite of all plastics these days. Many of you that already know me, also know that I love to offer it all because I collect it all! I can go from Vintage Bakelite, to Lucite, and of course, the greatest and latest designs in Modern Resin plastics for a real thrill that is so fabulous to feel, touch, look at and wear! Speaking of ME...what do I want? EVERYTHING IN EVERY KIND OF PLASTIC, OF COURSE! I love bracelets and rings the best out of any form of wearable jewelry, because I can LOOK at them and enjoy them. I can't really see necklaces, or earrings as much. For this reason, I offer mostly rings and LOT'S of bangle bracelets, because that is what I collect the most and have more of than anything. I stare at my jewelry, and enjoy wearing it, like eye candy, it keeps me thrilled all day long. Again, I offer it all when it comes to plastics. ALL of my pieces you can be sure that I have one of for myself at home that I am keeping for me, and that is when I say I enjoy wearing it in my own collection, or it's the only one in my collection and I'll tell you it's a one of a kind entry in my collection, so grab it when you see it, because you definitely won't see it again once gone in that case!! I don't collect much vintage celluloid, so that is the only plastic you will not see me offer much of. I will always tell you as much as I can about the items I sell, but PLEASE always ask me any questions you may have at anytime. I love hearing from everyone here on ebay. I have gotten so many lovely emails from loyal and brand new customers I meet all the time, so keep the notes coming! Please do the same with any seller you are considering buying from, as I notice alot of plastics here on ebay are being called Bakelite left and right, which are actually Resin or Lucite. So always be sure to buy from sellers who really KNOW what they're selling, unless you are experienced enough to look at the item, and know what you are really getting, and love it! There are times when I buy items, and the seller says the piece is Bakelite when of course, I know better. IF I still like the piece regardless, that is fine. Same goes for your purchases, but if you are counting on something to be as described, at least you know you can ALWAYS count on me to be perfectly honest about what plastic is being offered!
Since I starting collecting, my different plastic collections have truly become massive. I have well over 1,000 bangles in my home, many of which, are never to see an auction. Yes, I know, that IS excessive, but I don't care, I just can't let them go... YET. Of course I am forced to make space as my buying always exceeds what I sell, so you always see something new each week! It's my obsession with plastics, that really keeps my inventory going, because although I don't want to really part with anything, I must, because I can't stop buying more! I think you can relate to this!
I see alot of sellers saying their items are "From my collection", well I don't know about them, however, I do know why I say this, because it's TRUE. Like I said a moment ago, I started selling items when my buying habits amassed into a huge amount of Plastic Bangles that have taken over my home, so much so, that I've incorporated them into being decorative at this point! I have them in the China cabinet, on racks displayed on tables, hanging off lamps, and anywhere I can see and enjoy them, even though I don't have enough arms to wear them all at once. If I am out for the day, I make sure I am happy in my choice for the day, which is easy, but what a BIG decision! Since I am quite passionate and a fanatic about collecting plastic bangles and rings OF ALL KINDS, I have quite a choice to choose from when facing each new day. One day a long time ago, I said to myself, if I am to keep buying at this rate, I must part with some too, so when I began to sell my bangles as they became too many, I started saying "from my collection" on my auctions, because it is the truth, and not just said because it sounds good to just say it. I hope anyone who says it now too, really means it, because it is truly a THRILL and a huge part of my life, to wake up each day, and have so many incredible pieces to choose from! I seriously wear all kinds of plastic bangles ALL the time, from the moment I awaken, to the minute before I go to sleep. I change bangle bracelets several times in the course of a day in attempt to get around to them all, but I can't. I have ones I've bought, and haven't even worn yet. I must HAVE them though! I know it sounds crazy, but it's MY THRILL, to live in, love. collect, and sell all types of my INCREDIBLY THRILLING PLASTIC BANGLES!!
It's very hard to be in this business and not want to part with so much, I wish I didn't love to collect, I'd have so much more to sell! Like you, I cannot help but be thrilled when seeing a new exciting acquisition for my collection, and I am so happy to have so many loyal customers that I can thrill each week along with me! By now you know my quality is the best, and my prices cannot be beat for the quality you recieve. I like to give everyone the most value and best quality plastic jewelry for the best price, so I can thrill you again and again! It also goes beyond that though for me, I like to bring ME to every single transaction, and strive to be the best seller you've ever done business with. A friendly email always gets a friendly reply, and I often end up making friends with my friendlier buyers for this reason. Over 30% and up to 50% of my business is repeat customers, proving that outstanding friendly customer service, and great items at great prices means I'll always see you again and again for more each week!
Since I love the colorful and shiny, I also collect great VINTAGE AND OTHER COLOR GLASSWARE, which you will find me offering here on occasion as well! I guess you can say that colorful shiny objects in general, have been a personal obsession since my childhood. I even collected plastic objects then like this great Vaseline Neon Green clear plastic puzzle set I had, that formed into a block, I always carried a favorite piece of the Neon Vaseline color plastic with me when I wasn't playing with the whole puzzle, and played with it. You know something, still the same things thrill me now. I collect Vaseline color plastic bangles and rings wherever I can find them, among all the rest of course. I guess I will never grow up, or get tired of my plastic toys! Take a look at just a few in the top picture. You have to be innovative when you collect this much. I have drawers and tubs filled with plastic bangles, more to keep, than sell! I find it a great help to tie my bangle bracelets by style with a sturdy plastic lanyard, this keeps them from knocking around and getting scratched. Don't hesitate to display your bangles as one would display any favorite collectible. After all, if you can't wear them all, try to keep them where you can LOOK at them all the time and enjoy them this way as well!

LIFE IS A BEACH...WITH A BUNCH OF BANGLE BRACELETS!
I live in the greatest place in the entire world, well in my opinion, CONEY ISLAND BY THE BEACH IN BROOKLYN, NEW YORK! I see the water go all the way around the tip of what WAS once an Island, now technically, a Peninsula as it is attached without a bridge and is only 3 sides water, like Florida, only it's four seasons and lot's more excitement! I see the largest suspension bridge in the USA, the Verazzano Narrows Bridge, ALL of the Manhattan skyline, where I watched the beloved World Trade Centers fall on September 11th, 2001. I will see the construction and completion of the new Freedom Tower, just as I watched the World Trades rise as a young girl, as I've had this view since I was 2 years old. Music has always played a big part in my life, I am a self taught Pianist and Guitarist, I can sing on key and can successfully beat on a set of drums with bangled arms. I have written quite a bit of music and song lyrics just for my own enjoyment. After I just graduated from college with a Broadcasting degree, I then traveled and spent a few years as an on-air radio personality in several radio stations including WTVR-FM Virginia, and even found myself listed in Wikepedia as 1980s Country Personality for the station, which was really exciting to discover. I've also worked in another Richmond station, and in a few stations in Connecticut and Buffalo New York too, but all along, I wanted to come back here, because as the song says, I love New York! Hands down, it's the hippest, hottest place on the planet. I've seen people that I know are not from New York, SAY they're located here, just to SEEM cooler I guess, which is funny and flattering. Well I am here for real, and I would not go anywhere except on a brief vacation, and even then, I miss New York and cannot wait to get home. There is a certain style, and mindset, that makes New York the most fashionable, exciting place in the world. I love eBay because each week I meet new customers from all over the USA and the rest of the world. So I get to travel vicariously through my wonderful customers, while remaining right here in my favorite place. Besides, there are so many great Flea Markets here to find what else....??? YOU GUESSED IT, MORE PLASTIC THRILLS FOR ME AND YOU!
