We LOVE the Jack Russell breed. Minnie is our newest addition to the family. Don't let that cute innocent face fool you! She's a sweetie 50% of the time the other 50% a little she devil. Lou is our 3 year old male who has been very patient with Minnie and when the high energy playtime gets started it gets pretty exciting around here with loads of laughter! :)

ARTIST of the MONTH

EBay member DSBURG sent me this picture of his latest Fall Yellow Bonsai Tree....Stunning! Created using wire, 6mm yellow lentil beads and a technique as published by Francis & Glenda Brabham. This is where the limbs are created as the beads are added....then the limbs are twisted together to form a branch....branches are brought together to form the trunk and then down to the roots. DSBURG loves the fall season....the color of the trees...this is reflected in his work.

The two books he recommends are out of print but can still be found, they are "Wire Ming-Thing Trees" and "Creative Wire Trees."  Another author who follows the Brabham's technique is Bobbie Pearson.

Thanks so much for sending me this picture DSBURG and when I get a chance maybe I'll try my hand at these. :)
