Hi, My name is Tammy, and I am 41 years old with the heart and soul of a 25 year old. I have three biological children, and one step son. Three have flown the nest, the last one will fly away to college in a year and half. I was born and raised in Schroon Lake, NY and have resided in Saranac Lake, NY for the last 9 years. Saranac Lake is one of the best places in the world to live, we are famous for our fresh air that curied many tuberculosis patients during the turn of century, and for our famous Ice Castle and Winter Carnival in February. We CELEBRATE winter. I am currently a full time student, a Senior at Plattsburgh State University studying History and Museum studies. I started selling on Ebay full force in January 2006 to help pay for college and supplement my lost income while doing my schooling.
I am supporter of www.nothingbutnets.net , fundraising effort of the United Nations Foundation, Unicef, NBA, AID, and many other wonderful organizations. This is a fundraising campaign to fight Malaria in Africa. At this time there is a child under the age of 5 dieing of Malaria every 30 seconds. There is no excuse for a child dieing, Malaria can be exterminated, and childrens lives saved buy purchasing a bed net for ten dollars.
WHAT I LIKE TO SELL:
I started off my Ebay career selling mostly postcards. However, as I have looked around my house and seen 20 years of accumulated treasures, I realized that I had a lot more to offer the public. You know the old saying "One man's junk, is anothers treasure!"
WHAT I LIKE TO BUY:
I like to purchase fabric for projects, I do collect tea cups and pots, I am currently looking for Sonoma Lodge dishes for my eldest daughters new home, and my dream is to buy a New Kitchen Aid Pro Mixer, and restart my stamp collection that I had to sell years ago when I was a single mom. However, with my college expenses I usually only purchase what I really need at this time.
