AGARN SAYS "HI, THERE, FOLKS"Back on September 14 1965 the ABC television network launched a comedy series called "F TROOP" which lasted but two seasons and starred Forrest Tucker as Sergeant Morgan O'Rourke, Ken Barry as Captain Wilton Parmenter, lovely Melody Patterson (who was only 16 when the series began) as Wrangler Jane and Larry Storch as Corporal Randolph AGARN, O'Rourke's main henchman. Hence my chosen ebay name, AGARN. Without question, the show was ahead of its time, one of the all time great comedies, replaced with Sally Field as The Flying Nun of all things. Somebody somewhere had to pay tribute to this remarkable sitcom that never ever jumped the shark. That's where I step in, as AGARN, with POSTERS AND RECORDS AND CDs AND TOYS AND BOOKS AND WHATNOT IN REMARKABLY GREAT CONDITION, USUALLY MINT AND FROM MY OWN PRIVATE COLLECTION THAT I HAVE BEEN HOARDING FOR MANY YEARS. BUT I DIGRESS. I sure do miss F Troop.

either the Beatles or the Rivieras - I couldn't decide!

I've been a collector ever since I bought my first 45 rpm record back in January of 1964 - it was "She Loves You" by the Beatles, an up and coming rock and roll group from Liverpool, England. I kinda figured that the band would go places and I was right. I had a dollar saved up to buy a record and I was torn between the aforementioned Beatles platter and "California Sun" by the Rivieras from South Bend which was also a big hit of that era. I thought that the Rivieras would ALSO make it big so, you see, I don't always pick 'em right. Like I said, I only had a dollar and the Beatles won out. Many years later I bought that Rivieras record along with "Little Donna", "Rockin' Robin" "Rip It Up", "Whole Lotta Shakin'" and "Bug Juice", all recorded by - you guessed it - the Rivieras. My point is, those Rivieras records are quite valuable today, even though the Beatles might've seemed to be a better investment at the time. I have many Beatles records in my collection, too, (including that copy of "She Loves You" which is about 40 years old and still sounds great) and a smaller number of Rivieras records and they can all be sold on eBay. It's a good thing I often bought doubles and sometimes even triples. That's one of the reasons why my goods are pretty much always in NEW CONDITION. It's because I was a top notch hoarder many long years ago. These days, my specialties are records, toys, books and posters, but as you can see, I like to dabble in all kinds of stuff.
