JFK Jr. Owned 1977 Cessna 182Q N529JK
This 1977 Cessna Skylane is the first airplane owned by John F. Kennedy Jr.
It was used by him for training and cross-country flights. It is a specialized
high performance Cessna Skylane with a Texas Skyways conversion. The
alterations include a larger more powerful engine, various speed modifications to the airframe, and a three bladed Scimitar propeller. Custom
painted for John in a patriotic red, white and blue scheme, it has become a
final salute to his father. The personalized registration number N529JK commemorates President Kennedy birthday May 29th. Recognized as a
special high performance aircraft, N529JK has become a unique part of
