My other big love is NEIL FINN and CROWDED HOUSE I adore this man his music his lyrics his voice his everything, I love all the guises of Neil from Split Enz to Finn Brothers to CRowded HousE I adore this group I have seen them live they ROCK!also seen the Finn brothers and Neil Solo. WHatever he is doing he does it superbly.I have loved Neil for over 25 years!
I also love Antipodean Films, Tv and Soaps my all time fave being ACP ( A Country Practice ) many have now come and gone sadly, some of my fave movies are Malcolm with the late great JOHN HARGREAVES (Rip) John was a star who never really liked all the hoohar of the glitzy circles but he made many good movies He died of AIDS 8th January 1996

As you can see from above I have always loved Stevo,
September the 4th 2006 we lost him in a freak accident he died after he was pierced in the chest ( in the heart itself) by a stingray barb while diving on the Great Barrier Reef such a freak event(( IT was not his fault just sadly act of nature which Steve had no hand in and had not atagonised the ray!) which took away a legend from Aussie and from the world.
He was laid to rest in his Beloved Australia Zoo on Sept 9th this was a private event,a memorial for family, friends fanz and more was held on 20th Sept again at his beloved zoo that he built up with love and dedication. A fitting end to a wonderful mans life sadly taken FAR TOO EARLY.

Mr Jim Cronin set up this park.Back in 1987 the land was a disused pig farm now it is one of Dorsets Biggest attractions!
JIM CRONIN MBE sadly lost a short battle with Liver cancer March 17th 2007, His Loving wife Alison and best friend Jeremy Keeling have vowed to keep this wonderful sanctuary running and make it bigger and better and rescue even more primates!
During the past 20 years, Jim established himself as an international expert in the rescue and rehabilitation of abused primates, and the enforcement of international treaties aimed at protecting primates from illegal trade and experimentation. Jim founded Monkey World which he and Alison built from a small refuge to a 65 acre wildlife park that is home to more than 160 rescued primates of 16 different species and is rated as one of the most popular family destinations in England. Last year Jim was awarded the honour of Member of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II for Services to Animal Welfare. The well-loved series, Monkey Business, has documented their frequent rescue missions and undercover investigations throughout Europe and Asia for the past 10 years, and a new series is in production.
Jim had a passion for life and the conservation of wildlife that was an inspiration to all who knew him. His enthusiasm was infectious and he will be very deeply and sadly missed by all whose lives he touched. Jim legacy will continue under the guidance of his devoted wife, Dr Alison Cronin. Monkey World and the numerous projects Jim and Alison set up globally, will continue as a fitting memorial to a man whose life touched so many around the world.
