HOW SOME OF MY AUCTIONS HELP THE ANIMALS:

It's probably obvious from my business name, All Pets Cherished, that I'm an animal-lover!! From the time I was small, my best friend was my dog. She was the best dog ever and I've been fortunate to have a special bond with many dogs my entire childhood and adult life. I've also been a horse-crazy girl my entire life. I try to ride as much as I can, and when I'm not riding, I'm dreaming about it!

Of course, adult life gets in the way of spending every minute doing "fun" things and work, cleaning and spending time with my family are priority. The local SPCA right down the street from me was on the local news, begging for donations and volunteers. I've always wanted to volunteer, but with barely enough time to do my stuff, I thought, "how can I help?"

Ebay is the answer! You'll notice the ribbon next to some of my auctions. This tiny Missionfish ribbon means that I (as a seller) am donating a percentage of the winnings to the shelter of my choice. I am donating 100% of certain ebay auctions to the Wyoming County SPCA, because I believe in their cause.

THEY ARE A NO-KILL SHELTER!

This means every single animal is given a chance, not euthanized.
This means it takes approximately $220,000 per year to operate this shelter.
Volunteers are few and far between and the shelter cannot afford to pay many employees. The animals are cared for by generous volunteers and workers that donate their time to care for each animal until it finds it's forever home.

I would be one of those volunteers (and probably will someday), but until then I will continue to donate money every month and encourage people to buy my auctions!
