This is me, Amber, the bargain hunter's wife.

Hi!    My name is Amber and I am married to the ultimate bargain hunter.  My husband, Michael brings home just about anything you can think of and some of it needs to go home with shoppers like you.  Michael and I have been married for ten years and we have two small, wonderful children.  After I had our last child we decided that I should stay home, so I quit my job as a middle school teacher and began the 24/7 job of mommy/housewife.  I have enjoyed every minute of it but it has been hard on the pocketbook if ya know what I mean!  Michael worked as a mechanic at a tractor dealership but when the economy started falling they decided to cut costs and the last hired was the first to be fired so they let him go even after years of employment.  That was the beginning of a new adventure for us. 

Michael decided to try his hand as self-employment and we are still trying to make it work.  Mechanic work seems to be seasonal so we had to expand our options so I could continue to stay at home.  That is when I decided to see if we could take my husbands love and talent of bargain hunting, buying and reselling to the next level.  You see he has an eye for things unlike anyone else I know and is not afraid of it.  He will even stop by somebodies house he does not know to ask them about something they may have out in their yard that interests him.  Pretty funny don't ya think!!

This is Barney and a couple of our goats.

While I was telling you about Michael's interests I forgot to tell you about mine.  Being a good mom and wife are pretty important to me but in my spare time I love cooking and animals.  I love to bake cakes and fix those good old recipes that your grandma cooked for you when you were little and still to this day if you close your eyes and think about them hard enough you can almost taste them.  Like good old cheese biscuits and other kinds of recipes that have become a thing of the past due to the fast pace of the world.  It's OK though cause the freezer biscuits at the grocery store are really good to.

Another thing of the past are animal farms and I am blessed enough to have a small working animal farm.  We have chickens, goats, cows, pigs, dogs and a donkey named Barney.  Our kids love to watch them and I like what kind of respectful children they are becoming because of growing up to appreciate nature and all God's blessings.  I am also in process of putting together a website that gives how to ideas for starting and maintaining a working animal farm.  I'll let you know when I have it finished and maybe you can check it out sometime.  Well I guess that's enough about us so next time when your out, about and e-baying look us up and see what Michael has drug home now.  We promise it will always be exciting and surprising to see what he can find but while he is out hunting bargains I will be cleaning the clutter and hopefully interesting you into buying something that contributes to a Micheal's stuff/clutter free way of living.
