Little stuff about, well, me ;)
Hi! I'm Ameena, born 1983, in Gothenburg/Sweden. My mother is Swedish and my dad is Pakistanian, though I have no real contact with him any longer.
I collect G1 My Little Ponies, a few G3 My Little Ponies and Jared Leto movies.
Used to be a big fan of Naruto, but I'm considering selling parts of my merch collection on eBay or Tradera.
As for the ponies, I've loved them ever since I was a little kid, some of my earliest memories are of getting Baby Glory on my birthday in 1985, also getting the European Non-So Soft pegasi North Star and Windwistler for Christmas during the early 80's. I have about 80 G1 ponies only, but i would have had more - unfortainly some of them got stolen when I was a kid. :( My goal is atleast 100 G1 ponies - not including doublettes.
Been a fan of Jared Leto's since the mid-90's when I watched My So-Called Life and some of the movies he's been in are my top favourites. But I never got around to listen to his music though; I guess I was afraid that I wouldn't like it so much (to be honest I didn't like it much when he sang in that one MSCL episode, so I'm sad to say I didn't have enough faith in him). But he and the guys proved me completely wrong when they opened up for Linkin Park on May 25, 2007 - I fell in 'love' with Jared all over again yet in a completely different and new, exciting way; I love 30 Seconds to Mars in their own right! (Though I prefer the old s/t album to A Beautiful Lie)
Went over to Manchester and Liverpool in January 2008 to see them - and got to meet them; both at the signing and afterwards! So I'm still bouncing around on pink clouds from the joy, haha! *dork*
With the exception of MSCL and Chapter 27 (the DVD was released here in January; I'm just waiting for the price to drop), I have a complete JL movie collection. (okay...so the Thin Red Line and Girl Interrupted vhs tapes are currently missing....but i'll find them! >_> Until then I have them digitally, w00t!) Somehow the movies are much more fun to watch after you've hugged the guy ;)
And let us not forget about Shannon! Damn....I love to watch him drum; he's like a wild animal!! And Tomo is just brilliant. And Tim....he needs to be official soon!
PICS & VIDEOS @ my LiveJournal!! (warning for pic spam!!)
I also love Ancient Egypt! Although I'm not so into it now as I used to be, it still amazes me with all the wonderful buildings and art! Been to the pyramids in Giza and Sakkara twice, but also Dashur and Meidum (we got a poilice escort to that one, lol)! Been to Egypt twice and can't wait to go back!!
I'm a history geek in general, and two men has captured my heart completely; Alexander the Great and his Hephaistion. Didn't know much about Alexander when growing up; I knew of the story of him and his horse Bucephalos of course, but Oliver Stone's movie (that I originally watched for Jared) introduced me to the world of Alexander, and although I think Stone could have done a lot of things differently, I'm glad he made it so I could find more info about the man on the wonderful world wide web and learn as much as I could. Alexander and Hephaistion are really inspirational to me.
I used to have this page to keep a listing of which ponies I have, but now I've created a site instead. Please take a look! :)
I must be honest and say that Fizzy wasn't in a good condition when she arrived; and she was in a desperate need of a bath. I cleaned her up and she looks very good now. Her mane is silky and is laying down by her neck, it looks nothing like it did in the pic on the right. Her tail is frizzy, though, and her previous owners have cut off some parts of the tail (not noticable when placed right). Her icecream markings aren't in a good condition; some of them have started to fade. Other than that, she is a very clean and happy pony, not to mention gorgeous to boot. :)

I found this Italian pony laying abandoned in the snowy ditch under some trees by the garage. Dirty as she was, I had her laying in a bucket of warm water for days until most of the dirt had loosened from her. It took some while, but I managed to get her cleaned up. Her mane was hard to tame, after the first wash it still refused to do what I wanted. After getting my display shelves ready, I put more conditioner in her hair....then forgot about her for a few months... hehe, oops? ^^; But it did wonders, even if it's still not how I want it it's much better!! (no photos of the current state yet) Her tail is very frizzy, and her eyes are not in the best condition, but that could also be muich because of her being Italian. Her heart markings have faded slightly.

This is probably the finest Pony I have. She was in a very fine condition when I bought her through eBay, but after I spoiled her rotten with a beauty treatment, I'd say she would be mint/near mint if it wasn't for a very tiny dark spot on her nose, by her previous owner. Her white mane and tail is shiny and silky. There is a few strands of hair that has started to get frizzy at the tops, but that is easily fixed by a perfect trim (though I try to avoid that) or defrizzing (which I don't dare to do to any of my ponies). And as far as I can see, her glittering snowflake markings are very near mint.
