My name is Amy and I am a full time college student, in my senior year, majoring in agricultural education. I am both an eBay consumer and vendor. Most of my knowledge is beyond the age of most young adults my age. I have worked at an antique store for 6 years now. I purchase antiques and re-sell them in the shop. I also list some on eBay from time to time, to allow others not in the area to purchase my unique finds, or items that I am parting with. I also list items for family members from time to time. My favorite collections include anchor hocking glassware, hazel atlas, Pyrex, rhinestone jewelry, and Christmas items! I already have boxes of items overflowing for my future home and have decided to go through them and keep only what I absolutely love. I have also begun to collect antiques which I will use during my wedding reception! I will be getting married to an amazing gentleman on October 3, 2009.
I sell on ebay to supplement my income and support my antiquing hobby. I am unable to work at certain times during the year because of my major, so I do my best to try to have some great ebay listings saved up. I go to estate sales and auctions looking for great finds. Many items I keep, but some things I just can not pass up. I also list for friends and relatives from time to time.
I work at an antique store, when I am home. Normally June-mid September, this year only through August. I work on weekends when I can to keep the store running smoothly. I have experience and I know what to look for. I am always looking out for items that our reugular customers ask for and any unique finds I may come across.
If you ever have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank You!
Amy
Updates Secton!
So unlike the original plan. I will continue to sell both vintage and antique items as well as clothing and such. My fiance and I have started to consolidate, mainly his closet :D. We will have more listings weekly, I attempt to list daily, however with school almost in session it may be more difficult. I am completing my student teaching, which is keeping me extremely busy. I have not been able to buy as much but will continue to keep my eyes open for great vintage finds. I am trying to meet the demands of ebayers. Keep an eye out for new listings!
Thanks! Amy & Tyler
