Below are some of the art dolls I have created, I hope you will take the time to view, and read a little about me. I am a self taught art doll creator, and truely love the art! I am married, I live with my husband, and two youngest children twins, in Ky. Also our oldest grandson lives with us. We have 5 children, and 6 grandchildren! wow, yes I did say that..smiles.

A Far Place studio featuring works by Artist Christel Hutson. All of my art dolls, are true OOAK pieces. Each has been designed and created by me alone, without the use of molds. I have been creating art dolls for a very short time, only starting in September of 2007. I have evolved immensely in that short time, and continue to improve daily. With art, there are no rules, ones imagination can take you to boundless reaches.I truely love the creating process, and seeing each new soul come to life! I don't know what took me so long to discover sculpting, but am so glad it finally found me! I have always been very artistic, I sing, sew, dance, draw, and have created cloth dolls for many years. At one time enjoyed the craft of cake decorating, which I have now passed down to my daughter, at any rate, this is now my passion, and I expect it to always be from this day on! I cannot imagine my life without doll making!
