About me and my auctions

I was born and raised in Russia, and came to the US when I was nineteen. My mother taught me every possible craft she knows, including needlepoint, cross-stitching, sewing, crocheting and knitting. I learned to watercolor using every library book on the subject, and I learned quilting from my mother-in-law. Quilting is where I can combine my creativity and all of my skills, and I love it the most! Sometimes I paint the fabrics I use, and piecing the blocks is a little like painting, only you use fabrics instead of paint. I love to use black in my quilting, I guess that's where my Russian style comes into play. If you ever saw Russian painted tea trays, scarves or boxes you understand what I am talking about - black background and bright bold colors!!!

Now I am a full time mom of three wonderful boys, a full time employee of the Homeless Coalition, and only a part-time quilter and eBayer. I love to quilt and to share my work with others who enjoy it as much as I do. I try to mail out all of my items within 2 days of receiving a cleared payment, but sometimes it is not possible for me because of unforeseen circumstances with my family or my job, so please be patient with me. I usually will let you know by email if your item is going to be delayed, but if you absolutely have to receive it by a certain day, please ask me BEFORE you bid, and I will try to make your needs a priority. I believe that communication is the best problem solver in life, so if you have ANY questions or concerns, please contact me via eBay mail, I will check it, even if I am out of town.

Feedback

I believe that feedback is very important in eBay, so I do leave feedback for EVERY auction, even if I left feedback for that person already. I count on you to do the same. Usually I am very understanding and do not critique much. COMMUNICATION is the key to my heart, please let me know if you need more time to pay or to ship, and I WILL understand (we are all just humans!)

Favorites

I have created a list of favorite sellers and most are quilters like me. I do not see them as competition, rather, I see them as inspiration and motivation. I learn a lot by looking at other quilters' work. I hope they will not be offended if I use their talents to improve mine!
