The two of us in the Alaskan Wilderness
Hello from Alaska
We hail from the farthest north US state, where we live on a small farm with our horses, dogs and cats. Visit our web site to see all of us, and spectacular views of Alaska. We hope you enjoy your tour of our web pages. All pages were html coded painstakingly by hand by Jean (appyloosa3), self-taught Moosewood Farm Webmistress.
AS an ebayer...
We are mainly customers on the buying end of things, but we do occasionally post items for sale; everything from garage sale items, to great finds, to some handmade items from our long winter hobbies. My latest hobby? Handmade barrettes using vintage and antique jewelry and crystals. No 2 alike and fun to make!

About Buying on Ebay Ebay, while a great resource for collectors and hard to find items, can also be a place of great frustration when things do not go right in a transaction. Stuff happens, and I always try to communicate with the seller to find out why we have a problem and/or try and resolve it. Unfortunately, it seems more often now, that some people are only interested in pointing fingers everywhere else rather than accepting blame for a problem. This is also being reflected in FEEDBACK. You will see a few complaints in my own feedback that are recent. *Retaliatory* feedback is becoming more common, as evidenced by my own experience. PLEASE, if a seller deserves a negative, don't be afraid to give them one, even if you see they leave retaliatory feedback. That type of feedback is obvious in a profile, and a seller that stoops so low as to scare people into not leaving deserved feedback is the lowest form of seller. Buyers will see a retaliatory pattern to their feedback, and should act accordingly; weigh bidding against what to do if things do not go right and you may need to leave a complaint. If they deserve the complaint, then *do it*; don't let them get away with undeserved clean feedback. Protect other buyers otherwise the system will not work. If they say they didn't receive mail, ask the buyer if they have copies; chances are they do; that's one of the most common lies used. Send copies of mail direct **and** through Ebay's mail service. Unless their contact info is false, they will get the mail, and it will be a lie if they say they didn't. Watch out for each other, do the right thing, neg when it's deserved.
Also, any one who will leave a neg for receiving a neutral is also retaliatory, and someone to not do business with. As I have stated, *LOOK* for retaliatory feedback and be very cautious about doing any business with someone who will stoop so low.
I tend to be a repeat customer if I like the seller. Here's a list of my favorite sellers with whom I do repeat business. Check my feedback for others to find more repeat sellers I have liked. I have found these sellers to be excellent in the areas of : Communication, shipping practices/fees, accurate item description, and warranties.
