The Home art I make is very French with a shabby feel to it, that's why I named my business "The Shabby French Home" I love to paint, sew and create with unusual finds. I think Flea markets are the best place in the world for an artist, And meeting other artists is a bigger plus. I have a booth at the Groves Irvine flea market here in California every first Sunday of the month. Along with selling my work I sell antiques I've found in other flea markets and estate sales. I have been into creating all my life I think I started sewing in the third grade and never stopped. In Jr. high I already had my own little business altering clothes for my teachers. My children are all grown and in their 30s. I live in Brea, California with my Husband Victor also an artist and our Dog Tobby.

My pillow art

My biggest sellers are my totebags and painted pillows. I make them with a mixture of fabrics and antique finds to make them interesting. Shown here is one of my painted pillows. Right now I'm into taking old jewlery apart and mixing them up with precious gems.
