This is Me

 I believe that education is the most important thing in having successful life. Business, to me, has been the most practical degree to get because you can use it practically anywhere! As I have learned in my business classes, there are a lot of people who want this degree; whether it be for a job advancement, starting a business, or just for the knowledge. But I also know that these books are expensive and usually overpriced at the school book stores! I have paid anywhere from $75-$150 for all my books and I want to share my books, which have hardly been used, with others who don't want to pay those overpriced prices for the bran' spankin' new ones. I know, however, you can sell back the books for only HALF price! A book which you hardly used for only $30 doesn't sound right.

I have started to sell an item for the first time myself! It is a business book about small business management. I have many others I would like to sell, but I am going to wait my current sell out to see how it goes. Don't want to jump to conclusions!

My Son

Let me tell you a little about myself now.

I am 19, almost 20, and am fairly new to e-bay. I worked at an e-bay store for a little while, so I have some experience in selling on e-bay. I have a two year old and am a military wife. I currently am a junior in college and am loving it!

I have no criminal background and am a very trustworthy person. I have worked hard in my life and am very proud of how I never gave up on myself or my family. I got pregnant in high school and was told by a lot of people that I wouldn't be able to succeed in my life, but I never gave up and just had to learn to ignore those ignorant people. I have to thank my mom mostly because she never gave up on me. In fact, she still encourages me to go to school for what I really want to do: Astro-physics. However, I don't think I can do that at this point in my life because of the travelling the military has us do and my son needs a lot of attention that would be taken away because of the studies that are required. I have been invited to talk to high schoolers about teen pregnancy and I have tried to convince them of all the hardships that come with it; some listen, but most ignore the reality. I like to think of myself as a role-model to my younger friends and for my little sisters.

I have a great younger sister who is now in the Army and working hard for the things she wants. I also have a great mom and dad! They work very hard for the things they have! They have taught me so much and I give them all the credit for how I am today.

From the age of 15 to 17 I took martial arts lessons (kenpo) in Montana. I like to try and keep up on it, but it's hard. I plan on learning jiu-jitsu while I am here in Florida. I like to read, study, write essays, play with my son, and hang out with my family. I am a very up-tight person that likes to get things done. During an interview I was asked "name something that describes you." I thought about it for a minute and responded with "a rhombus." She looked at me in a weird way and asked me to explain my answer. I told her a rhombus was a like a tilted square: I like to get things done in a neat and clean manner, but know how to have fun as well. She was impressed to say the least, it was an answer she had never heard before.
