The story of the Israeli Airforce (IAF) 101 Squadron o:p>
Forever with ME!!!
It was a warm night in the cold Israeli spring of 1948 when the founder of the 101 squadron, Modi Alon, met 2 of the squadron American volunteers and experienced WWII pilots, Stan Andrews and Bob Vickman. In a Tel-Aviv Cafe' the bonded 3 along with few others decided to choose a symbol for the 101 Squadron. Having on their minds the enormous Egyptian Army they soon had to fight, someone commented that the only one that truly defeated Egypt in the past was the Angel of Death.

This artifact, this symbol, was hand-made entirely in Israel:
