After spending many months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the hospital and having a few surgeries, we finally were able to take our little bundle of joy home after reaching about 5 pounds. Being parents of a preemie is much different than being parents of a full term baby. We needed to be more cautious about everything with our tiny baby.
