So you want to know about me? In the real world I am a nurse/underwriter. My first love is books, followed closely by quilting, flameworking/lampworking, macrame, beading, and anything else that catches my interest.

Who do you love?
My husband of 21 years, Chris, who is a bobblehead addict and has decorated my entire home in statues of ugly little baseball players, my two teenagers (well, I love them *most* of the time), my dachshund and my three cats. Andi, my pie-bald long-haired dachsie is 6 and is queen and boss o' da house and our three cats (who I frequently catch napping with La Dachsie although she would vehemently deny the allegation that she loves her kitties). Sophie is our oldest kitty, she's 7, and was adopted from a friend of mine when I was in home health care. Then there are the sisters, Baby and Pi (or 3.17) who were abandoned by their mama in our yard when they were about two days old. I bottle fed them telling my daughter we'd adopt them out in 6 weeks. They had other ideas and are now permanent family members (translation: Mom is a patsy whom I only have to cuddle occasionally to have under my complete kitty control). Also in the picture you will see Tiggy, also known as the Tigginator, who was rescued 14 years ago.
Tiggy has been the doorcat for Aunt_Melvernia's Dooryard since I began selling on eBay. Prior to that he had a semi-lucrative career as a Garfield impersonator.
ADDENDUM: Tiggy passed on this last fall (2007) and will be greatly missed. His picture will stay on this page to honor his memory. I missy you Tiggy, hope you find lots of friends over the rainbow bridge.
