Welcome to my shop. I have more than twenty years experience in custom costumes for theatrical presentations and reenactors. My passion for costuming started years ago with costumes for my children. Over the years I was approached by my family and friends to make costumes for them. With my love of sewing and history I began to make period costumes.
When opening a business became a reality rather than a dream I decided to concentrate on the Victorian and Edwardian eras. It was a time of great change in the world and it was reflected in the style of dress. From simple work clothes to opulent gowns and suits. Eras when femininity was the order of the day and men were gentlemen.
I think that costumes are a way to slip away from our busy lives and go back to a gentler time when life was slower and we had time to spend with each other and truly enjoy each other's company.
