"The King" of Awesome Ass Acres

I've changed my user name from equinesigns to awesome-ass-art.  I'm in the process of opening a small shop here at the farm and I wanted to incorporate the farm name into my Ebay transactions!  I hope there's no confusion and I hope y'all will still look for my work!  Thanks to everyone for shopping with me!

Thanks for stopping in to read "About Me"!  We live in East Tennessee, on a forty acre farm.  We moved here four years ago from the Atlanta area.  My husband and I have five children - 2 girls and 3 boys, ranging in ages from 21 to 33.  He's a young retiree from GM and I am his sidekick!!  We have 3 mules - King Solomon, Maude, and baby Cha-Cha, a flock of chickens, guineas, 2 peafowl, 3 Boxers, and 7 cats. We love the mountains, camping and showing our mules as much as possible.  We trail ride, wagon ride, garden, can vegetables and I paint primitive folk art - signs, canvas, anything that sits still long enough!  I also sing country music!  I've been singing on stage, since the age of 7, but "life" happened and I chose not to pursue a full time slot in the music world!  I have, however, decided to release a CD of my take on some of the classics.  Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Lori Morgan are some of the artists that I've chosen to honor on my CD -- I've really surprised myself with the outcome!!  Hmmmm...just maybe, if I'd gone to Nashville....Well, we all have those moments in "Shouldaville", don't we??  Then, we realize we're right where we're suppose to be and get back to what matters in our journey!
