My memory is not as good as it used to be - The old saying "If you don't use it - you will loose it" is so true. I find myself saying more often than not, how do I do that?
2 years ago I was bitten by a tick and developed Lymes Disease - it has definitely taken a toll on my memory and my body. I have had so many obstacles to over come due to this that I am not able to work at this time. I spent 20 years in retail and restaurant management and wanted to still have the interaction of the customers and the marketing challenges.
I signed up to sell Mary Kay - I completely believed in the company policy God, Family, Career. However I was not able to go out and have the classes as needed, I have good days and bad - when I have a bad day, I am down in bed, in pain and with no warning. Not a good way to be when you have obligations.
Sooo - what better way
to stay at home and have it all than Ebay? That is how it all started, I decided that I would sell my Mary Kay inventory on Ebay and I also have some friends who no longer sell for Mary Kay with inventory. We decided to pass our savings on to the the Ebay customers. Then to my surprise!
I was cleaning out some of my closets and decided to put my plus size clothes in my store - They took off! I have now come to realize that even though I do specialize in the Mary Kay stock and my Ebook (that I put together during my Mary Kay Consultant time). There are a lot of women just like me out there trying to build a career from home and are looking for a good bargain.
I now try to offer the extras that Mary
Kay women would be interested in...not only for their business but also for their own personal and family needs.
My husband and I have 7 children and 4 grandchildren - I know first hand that someone is always needing something! Most Mom's and Grandma's are like myself - we are so busy buying for the rest of the family that we miss out on the little extras for ourselves or to make our lives easier. If we could find it here on Ebay we would be more likely to by for ourselves every now and then.
My hope is that the items that I add to my store regardless if new or gently used will enrich someone else's life - I love Ebay and pledge to always use the utmost customer care and integrity in every transaction!
