ALWAYS ABOUT ART!!!!

I have been on Ebay for almost as long as I have been making the flowers and many of you have followed me and grown with me and many, many of you I consider very special and wonderful artists who take my work and make it into something beyond words.  Even though I do sell my work, I think it is the enchantment of the art that keeps me held captive.

I use mostly Bullseye glass which is American and Moretti which is Italian.  My flowers are frequently copied but it is impossible when you made a flower to ever make any two the same - Mother Nature believes that the perfection in flowers is as in snowflakes - similar, complimentary but never the same.  All of my flowers are hand made without sketches or notes, they are kiln annealed and they always have character.

In 2007 my finished pieces was juried into Metamorphosis: The Life Cycle of a Glass Bead.

Celebrating our 15 years, the ISGB announces the glass bead jewelry exhibit "Metamorphosis: The Life Cycle of a Glass Bead". This exhibit will highlight the life cycle of a glass bead through the display of a single glass bead and its incorporation into a complete piece of jewelry.  The catalogue for this Exhibit can be purchased through the ISGB website.

2008 my first Sculpture "The Visitor" was juried into the ISGB In The Box Exhibit that will be shown in several venues in Ohio, the Bead and Button Show and Oakland, California.

My current love other then my music is my writing which has been keeping me very busy.  Someone should tell people to follow their dreams when they are young because there really is nothing as wonderful as the flow of one's talent and dreams.  It fills you with such wonder and love that it's hard not to have a good day.  I don't know if I'll publish yet but I'll keep writing.
