Our auctions are a family operation brought to you with love from the breezy shores of Old Cape Cod. Frequently, you will find that many listings have either an animal or Nautical theme. That's because I grew up on a farm. I have lived near the ocean all of my life, and I find great pleasure in sharing my love for wildlife and the sea by bringing animal and ocean-related listings to you. You'll find barnyard favorites including cows, sheep, roosters, horses, and pigs; nautical items showcased include dolphins, lighthouses, seashells, beach scenes and boats, as well as sea creatures like crabs, lobsters, and sea birds.
If you collect angels, moose, or hedgehogs, please stop by frequently because I do, too! As a journaler, I am always buying stationery products and I frequently list my surplus of note cards, notepads, photo albums, journals, and writing supplies to share with you. I love scented candles, and you will find many scented listings including candles, incense, tart burners, and oils!
My sister is a folk artist, and most of our beautiful primitive and country listings are her unique creations. She loves to paint on wood and tin. She also makes wonderful fabric dolls. If you're a collector, you'll want to scan her listings routinely because she paints by category and by holiday or season! During the Christmas holidays she paints Nativity scenes, santas, snowmen, and winter wonderland scenes; she also sews angel, santa, and snowmen fabric dolls. She has many patriotic Americana listings year round, and she will have specialty items for Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. She also loves animals and the ocean, so you will often find a Nautical scene painted onto her artwork.
In the future, we will be adding several new categories. We recently added Scripture art greeting cards, and we will also be offering Scripture Art photography and bookmarks soon. We often have specialty items up for auction including Cape Cod photography, Cape Cod crafts, fly fishing equipment, more great animal by breed listings, and a section with items just for children. My daughter has outgrown her American Dolls collection, and my son has many great videos, DVD collections, and action figures that he'd like to pass on to others to enjoy. My late husband was a fly fisherman and has collected rods, reels, and accessories since he was a teen. He also tied his own flies. We lost him tragically in a fishing accident during the 2006 Christmas holidays. We will be auctioning from his collections periodically and hope that they will be passed on to others who will also find enjoyment from them. We also have a small collection of stamps and postcards that we will auction from occasionally. Our specialty collectibles are precious to us and it is hard to part with them, so we hope that you will enjoy them as much as we have!
