I have always loved collecting "things".  When I was a young girl I loved collecting rocks.  Shiny rocks, speckled rocks, smooth round rocks.  Then it was coins.  I love wheat pennies and silver quarters and dimes. 

When I was about 10 or so my dad bought me this native american beaded necklace with a tiny pouch attached at the bottom.  I thought it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen.  That's probably when my love for beads and beading began. 

After I got married and had kids, lots of kids,  I found I only had snippets of time for myself.  That's when my love for beading really took off.  I could start a piece, get half way through, set it down and pick up one kid, start dinner and go back to it later.  Before long I was making jewelry for my daughters, their friends and so on and so forth. 

While I still love beading, I also love sewing and refinishing furniture and my newest passion with glass.  I love mosaics!  I scour estate sales looking for interesting items to incorporate into my pieces. 

In early spring I hope to debut my work right here on ebay!
