A recent single mother of one, I don't have much time to look for what I want, but my interests fill a wide variety of subjects, expanded by the birth of my son.
I'm a huge movie buff. I don't have a small amount of dvds, but I also don't have the largest collection I've seen. I'll admit that my dvd collection may not rival anyone's, but my tape collection does (with the exception of my aunt who owns every Disney movie ever made). I used to work at a movie theatre (best job I ever had, but the management needs help) so I've seen many movies on a small budget.
Recently, I've begun to read anime and manga. At first, I just watched a few episodes of InuYasha on Cartoon Network because it replaced Batman and Superman, but then I actually began to follow the storyline. Shortly afterwards, I learned that one of my aunts also watched the series. We talked about it for hours on end, and she introduced me to some other series like Fruits Basket and Argentosoma. She lent me a preview book of some manga stories, and from it, I began reading Hana-Kimi, Hot Gimmick, and Love Hina.
Since Junior High, I've been interested in Batman and other DC Comics characters like Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and The Flash. For the longest time I had red hair (and a ton of natural red highlights) so I got the nickname "Batgirl" which is one of my online personas.
I also bowl on two women's leagues, sub on one men's league, and build websites (when I have the time).
I normally bid on mostly dvds, however, I have been known to buy books, cds, games & jewelry off of eBay.
I try to always leave positive feedback, however prefer to leave no feedback over negative. I strive to make each transaction a pleasant & informative one for both sides. For me to leave negative feedback, it must be a truely horrendous transaction.
As a seller, I try to provide the lowest cost of shipping available to me. I recently changed all my shipping options to "calculated" to ensure just that.
Between Thanksgiving and the end of the year, I offer free giftwrapping for all items (optional), and if the item is seasonal, I upgrade the shipping to Priority at no addtional charge if the end date of the auction is within a week of the holiday or event. Occasionally I offer free shipping if the item reaches a certain price. (International buyers receive shipping at cost of postage only.)
When leaving feedback for items I've sold, I will leave positive feedback as soon as I receive payment. I don't think it's fair to buyers when the seller waits for their feedback as if to see what they're getting before contributing to someone else's score or the "I give what I get" people.
To date, I've never had to leave negative feedback. =D
To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.
Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
