Gingerbread

Hello Everyone!
  I thought it was about time that I introduced myself to the members of eBay.
I've been a member for only a few months but I have truly grown into an active member of the Sellers and Buyers families here. (I'm Hooked!)
To let you all know who I am and what I do would actually take up the space of a Novel. So I'll attempt to give the the 'short story' version.
 My name is Barb and I live in Omaha Nebraska. I been given several nicknames but lets stick to the one here at eBay...bcreative.  Yes I am a crafter, a wife, a mother, and a lover of animals. I also love to garden, and I collect so many different items that I couldn't begin to list them here.
 I have one 26 year old daughter, a loving husband whom I've had the blessing to be with for almost 28 years, and we own one dog, Sandy a rescued white shepherd, and four cats, (Mickey, Booger (a rescue), Auto (a rescue), and Leigha (a rescue). Yes I love animals just as much as I do crafting. If I could give a home to every needy animal in this world I would, but my house just isn't big enough neither is my pocketbook.

 I have been crafting since 1974 when I became disabled as a bilaterial amputee. (I was in a train incident in April '74 and lost both legs in the incident). While being a crafter I have probably attempted every craft project on the market. And love the feeling of accomplishment one gets when you've completed a project. To just sit back and view some of the things I've created simply gives me a pleasure of complete satisfaction and awe sometimes. Often times I'll shock myself and can not believe I've actually made something that is either beautiful and/or useful.
Within the past few years I have restrained myself to stay within just a few areas of crafting. Those area being quilting/sewing, polymer clay sculpting, gourd art & growing them, and knitting/crochet.
My most recent endevor has been in constructing Potholders/hotpads. Which evolved from the need for a few quick gifts for a friends housewarming. I enjoyed designing and making potholders so much that the construction has overwhelmed my entire basement and family room. 
  To make a long story short, my craft room has become so crowded that I've decided to start sharing/selling the creations on eBay.  After years of weekend crafting that followed a long week at work I am now a stay at home housewife. And because of a recent health condition am no longer able to work outside the home. So as an effort to keep myself sane and active I'm crafting/creating items to sell on eBay.

 As of today my inventory has become 50% previously purchased/owned materials and 50% ebay purchased materials.
 It is my hope and dream to have my inventory evolve to the point of being able to sustain an eBay store with ongoing sales to support the investment of time, effort, creativity, and money. As I work towards fulfilling that dream I want to express my sincere appriciation to those of you who have purchased any of my auction items.  Thank you so much for being such great customers/buyers! If it were not for the Buyers here on eBay I as many others would never have the opportunity to fulfill one of our lifes dreams!
