I was blessed to be able to spend alot of time in the outdoors as a child.  My family would often camp out for 3 to 5 weeks at time, either at a beachside campground or in the wild woods along the Tallapoosa river in Alabama.  I would wander off up a creek and my father would have to blow the truck horn to bring me back...if I was within hearing range!  Growing up with my 3 brothers I learned to fish and shoot at a young age and now over 40-something years later I am still hunting (but mostly watching, I am mellowing in my old age!) and fishing, either with my brothers and nephews, my crazy girlfriends, or my best friend and partner, my husband Frank.  I take particular joy in taking young people out to catch a fish or try to see a deer.  Work schedules are just so hectic and crazy that I feel sorry for all of the families and kids that can't take the time to slow down and enjoy the outdoors..  I currently work at a private company doing HIV and hepatitis testing; Frank sells residential elevators and stairlifts through ACCESSIBILITY SOLUTIONS, his business.

BEATRICE AND FRIENDS- my eBay store and cottage farm.  I am starting to make money off of my hobbies!  I sell produce at the local farmers market during the summer in additional to my regular job.   I got an art degree back in the 90's under my maiden name and I am finally putting it to use.  In addition to selling produce from my garden and honey from my bee hives, I am now selling art.  I find art very satisfying and I hope you enjoy your purchases from me!  Most of my art reflects something autobiographical or one of my special interests.
