I have retired and my children are not interested in my collectibles.. I turned to eBay;
With plenty of idle time, eBay would be one of the better choices for me to make use of my time meaningfully and constructively.
BUSINESS MODEL / STRATEGY :
Slightly above average-priced collectibles
From my collectibles, gradually and slowly put them up for auctions. Identify those which are hot favourites among bidders and make plan to sell them .
PRICING POLICY :
I take into consideration that my bidders are seeking lower prices for taking the risk to buy the collectibles from me.
I may test a few on eBay and finally, I decided on my starting price of my collectibles.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES :
Strength : Currently no issues on running out of items to sell as I have access to a vast inventory to be put for sale.
Weakness : Photos are always blur. I just cannot get the focus right! Need to improve on the skill of photo takings. |
