The Journeys I Wish I Had Taken...sometimes wind along a peaceful stream!

BigNBettergifts is my project to begin to just do something different with my life.  I hope I will meet new people as well as learn about business. I haven't sold anything yet (things have changed - I've actually sold something and it is a good feeling too!) but I will keep trying as I am an empty nester with years and years of items that I have decided to let go of and to try to simplify my life a little.   

I have lots of collections, baseball cards from when my son was little (he is 40 now), salt and pepper shakers and other odds and ends that one tends to accumulate over the years and from time to time I will list some things.  I am learning to use the digital processes and this is great fun for me to try that. 

I am a believer in "joy" at this time in my life.  A baby falls down many times as it learns to walk.  But it gets up again.  "I can risk taking a new step."  So, if I succeed or not with my new project I am having fun but I am still learning too and that to me is the great part about getting older.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

My favorite hobby is collecting salt and pepper shakers, books (all types, history, biographies, how to, inspiration and mysteries) and ethnic art by original artists.

I have 3 sons and 4 granddaughters.  I think it was a great way to finally get some girls - and it's wonderful too!
