Trombones, Aviation, Juvenile Flying Stories, Antique Phonographs, Music, Movies... These are just a few interests of mine represented by my collections. When not working as an emergency manager, I play the trombone, fly volunteer search and rescue with the Civil Air Patrol, and enjoy life in the Los Angeles area. |

A Collection of Trombones and other horns I have about a dozen trombones dating from 1893 to present day. Most have slides, but some use valves like a trumpet. I also have a few other horns: a euphonium, alto horn, tenor horn, baritone horn, and an 1886 tuba. The Flying Machine Boys and others... Books written for young adults about the adventures of flying are one of my passions. Beginning soon after man created the flying machine, books about our love of flying started showing up. Most were written in a series about a main character or theme and were published between 1909-1949. |
