4-3-2008: Me and my BF are all settled into our house now, and I'm SOOOO loving having a sewing room! I've yet to take pictures of it in all its glory, but I plan too. We share our house with THREE cats now. CRAZY handfuls they are, but at least they are all compuslsivly clean. I guess I've become what I always knew I would.. the crazy cat lady. But yes, my sewing room is everything I dreamed it would be, although it took some time getting used to sewing at an accual table instead of on the floor! I'm also starting to put together my customer gallery, you can go see it on my myspace page. SEND ME PICTURES! I love seing you girls rock my clothing, and I want to show you off!
12-20-2007: So its almost Christmas yet thats the last thing on my mind.. My parents are in the process of moving out, my boyfriend's in the process of moving in, and I'm just in the process of going nuts. Lots of cleaning, planning, painting, sewing, shopping.. AHHH!! But it will be all worth it in the end, because I will FINALLY have a sewing room! NO more hunched over on the floor trying to cut fabric, NO more sewing while sitting on the floor, and best of all, NO MORE CLUTTER!!! Its been getting worse and worse over the years, and it will finally come to an end. You guys will even feel the difference... Less clutter means I can buy even more fabric, spend less time cleaning and more sewing, so you'll have LOTS more stuff to check out! I'll post some pictures of it in all its fabulousness once I finish it. So thats my update for now... I'll end this by saying Happy Christmas, and Merry Holidays! And here is a new picture of Boober Cakes for you to enjoy =)
10-09-2007: Wow I guess I'm not all that great on updating this ME page huh!? WOW, almost a whole year!!! A busy year at that. I've gotten loads of new customers, and I just want you guys to know you ROCK!!! I've just made my life a lil more hectic by selling my stuff on another site for y'all! 12-22-2006: Okay, so my ME page is now up and running! I know I haven't had much up this month, but I'll have a bunch of new listings right after the holidays, so look out! Me and Boober were napping under the tree... I don't think she liked sharing her fort with me.
12-21-2006: I'm finally making my "ME" page... so it might not be pretty right now... I'm not really good with this whole html thing... we'll see how it goes!

Hi, I'm Jes.
I'm the designer/sewer/model/photographer/lister/shipper and anything else you can think of for boober_cakes  . I've been sewing shirts and such for a good long while now, and I freakin LOVE it! There are so few 100% unique things to call your very own these days, and my clothing is my fix. Every single thing I will ever make will be, without a doubt totally unique and one of a kind. If it wasn't, there would be no fun, and I wouldn't be doing this. It would just be like every other crappy job in the world where you have to play by everyone elses rules. BOO that! I make some reconstructions, mostly of vintage band shirts that need new girly life kicked into them, and I also make original peices using nothing but fabric, thread, and an idea. I'm totally self-taught, I don't use store patterns, and I would NEVER sell anything I wouldn't wear myself. So rest assure everything will be very well made, and comfy!
WHAT I LOVE- Sewing, my kitty cat, my boyfriend, my family, music, concerts, T.V. (can't decide if Sex and the City, or HOUSE is my favorite), thrift stores, pickles, roller coasters, holidays, oldies, the smell of soap, shoes, tequila, the fall, smoking... although I don't do that anymore, pay day, new socks, cleanliness, misspelling everything, Hugh Laurie, and green gum.
WHAT I HATE- Ebay fees, non-paying bidders, phil collins, cold american cheese, techno, clowns, and rude people.
♫ WHAT I LISTEN TO ♫ - I'll listen to almost anything (Except techno! EEEWWW! That is NOT music!) But my favorites are, MxPx, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Elvis Presley, and Ritchie Valens.

Q- WILL YOU RE-DO ONE OF MY OLD SHIRTS FOR ME?
A- NO! If I have a sewing machine mis-hap with one of my shirts, no big deal. But if that were to happen with your all-time favorite shirt, that you've had for 20 years, I'd be in big trouble. Not interested.
Q- DO YOU HAVE ONE OF THOSE IN MY SIZE?
A- Every single shirt I make is ONE OF A KIND! That means there will be no duplicates, not even if they are in a different size. Sorry!
Q- WHATS A BOOBER CAKE?
A- She's my kitty cat. See above. meow!
Q- DO YOU HAVE ANY "ENTER ANY BAND NAME HERE" SHIRTS?
A- What I have, you'll see. I don't have a giant room full of band shirts somewhere.. although it would be nice... I operate out of a very small space, and my storage space is very small. What I have, I sew up, and put up for you fine folks to bid on.
♥ THE OTHER CRAP ♥
CUSTOM ORDERS- I don't do them. I don't have enough time, or alcohol to get me through them.
PAYMENT- I LOVE Paypal! But I'm willing to take money orders also. Paypal payments are due within 2 days of the end of the auction. Money orders have 1 week to get to me, and you MUST contact me at the end of the auction to let me know your sending one, and please include the name and item # of the auction you won, along with your mailing address, otherwise I'll have NO clue what its for. NO PERSONAL CHECKS!
SHIPPING- From now on I will be shipping once a week, usually on Fridays. So make sure I have your payment by Thursday night if you want your stuff shipped out that week =)
RETURNS- I don't except them. I give very good descriptions of my items, and its your job to read it. And ALWAYS check the measurements!! BUT if for some reason I end up sending you a hamburger instead of your shirt, or something on that level of me totally being in the wrong, contact me, and I'm sure we can work something out. But that won't happen.
FEEDBACK- I'm more than happy to leave good feedback for a good ebayer, but I will not leave you feedback, until I recieve feedback! I won't forget you! I promise. :)
