My name is Karen and my husband's name is Bryan. We are originally from the north but due to my husband's job we've been transferred to Central Louisiana. So we now consider ourselves part of the Cajun Culture. It's a new experience for us but we adapt well so we are just trying to learn all we can, see as much as we can see and enjoy the friendship of the wonderful people of central Louisiana.

    The weather is two seasons here, summer and the rest of the year. While it's hot and humid in the summer, the rest of the year it is mild compared to the snowy winters we remember from the north.

     We do miss the many things we used to do up north so now we try to spend our time finding things to sell on ebay. We make a little extra spending money and we have a lot of fun listing the items and watching the bidding.

     I collect Looney Tune items, mostly Tweety, while Bryan collects trains, and gnomes. No sooner do we list and sell an item, we turn around and start looking for things to buy with the money we made. So it's a fun hobby that fills our time and our curio cabinets as well, not to mention the many things we love buying for our precious grandson. We're doing our best to spoil him, in the nicest possible way!
