Let me introduce myself....my name is Patty and my passions are vintage textiles, sewing, hand quilting, and antique pottery, dishes, vases and much more! I work full-time in my own business as a Physical Therapist, but in my spare time watch out!! My sister, my brother and I love to travel the antique circuit and flea markets looking for that special something to sell on EBay.

I collect vintage fabrics, mainly from the 1930's and 1940's, but I also have a passion for 50's, 60's and 70's fabrics. Since I am an avid quilter, I mainly have all cotton fabrics, but I also have a love for vintage barkcloth and feedsacks. I also have an extensive collection of Marimekko fabrics some from the 60's and 70's and quite a few of the current patterns.

I cannot pass up a vintage quilt top when I see one-it doesn't matter if the top is finished or not. I have over 200 vintage quilt tops in my collection. It is amazing to be able to date a quilt by its fabrics. I also collect vintage quilt pieces-projects of long ago that were never completed. Please don't cut up vintage quilts that can be saved....preserve our textile history!

My husband finally finished my sewing room now that our daughter has moved to her own place. I am able to now view all my fabrics at a glance instead of searching through bins. As you can see by the pictures, one can never have enough fabric.

My other addiction is dinnerware and pottery from all eras. At last count I have 13 sets of dishes (that is hard to admit). I started collecting jadeite 30 years ago when you could get plates for 25 cents a piece. I have a few Stangl collections as well as LuRay. My art pottery passion is Hull Art, Cookson Pottery, and McCoy as well as vintage dresser caddys. Holt Howard is also one of my favorites!

My sister sells under the EBay name of Scribe0-she sells books as well as other vintage items. Check out her auctions-she has been doing this longer than I.
