I'm Kent and I'm recently retired. My avocation in life now is to restore and renovate vintage audio equipment. I am especially fond of the early Advent Loudspeakers. I buy them, fix them up mechanically and restore them cosmetically to the best of my ability; I then offer the best of them for sale on eBay. I also love Yamaha separates, the "Natural Sound" series, and love the combination of clean Yamaha power and crisp, clear Advent reproduction of music. My musical interests run toward late seventies, early eighties progressive rock. I especially enjoy the more obscure works of bands who had hits, but whose best works received little, if any, radio play. It is my obsession to try to approach the rock concert experience at home. This is extremely challenging when trying to duplicate the sound and feel of a live Tangerine Dream experience.

I have two girls, six grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter. I love NFL football and (sadly) the St. Louis Rams; that comes from growing up in the Los Angeles area. I presently live in northern Nevada near Lake Tahoe and enjoy having four distinct seasons. I really appreciate the annual cycle of life and enjoy the wildlife of the area.
