Proud wife of a Sheriff's Deputy


I am the proud mother of a 9 year old little girl, and 2 bonus sons. The 10 year old lives with us and the 17 year old lives in GA. My husband has been a Deputy for 17 years and we met while I was working at the Jail. While at the jail I started having medical problems that I tried hiding to avoid losing my job. After 2 years of constant pain I left the jail thinking the 12 hour shift work was the cause of my problems. I started working for a well known Judge an 8-5 job. I started having some testing done and found that I have Arthritis in my spine, that has spread to the point that surgery is no option anymore. After a year in the court system I started losing my balance and falling, memory lose, trouble walking and many other things. I started testing again, being told by doctors that I have MS. I was devistated to say the least.  One more year goes by and they tell me I have Fibromyalgia. I have all the symptoms of MS without the lesions on the brain. So I was forced to leave my job. I have filed for disability, but am told this is a long process. So to help my husband support our family I sell our things we can do without on E-bay. Its hard to survive on $32,000 with a family of 4. My medication alone costs us over $100 a month in co-pays.
