Current residence: Sunny San Juan, Puerto Rico (USA). PR is an US territory, and in most respects identical to any state. PR is legally considered within the physical, geographical and political frontier boundaries of the United States of America, some differing islander and continental's opinions norwithstanding. If in any doubt, check US Congress ruling on the subject: 42 USC 410(h)&(i): (h) State - The term "State" includes the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa. (i) United States - The term "United States" when used in a geographical sense means the States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa.
Shipping: All shipping to San Juan, PR is considered by USPS as local shipping, and _rates are identical to the 48 contiguous _,unlike Hawai, Alaska, Virgin Islands, or Guam . All my experiences with USPS shipping have been excellent, they are reliable, fast and inexpensive. Should you choose to utilize a different, private shipping company to send your stuff to PR, be prepared to pay through your nose, the average being three times as much as USPS. That may have asomething to do with PR's govt. bureaucracy harassing these companies, something they can't do to Federally Operated USPS. Even thus, charging thrice as much to ship to PR clearly doesn't make private shipping companies a good alternative. EBAY FEEDBACK: I'm the buyer, I don't really need feedback to pay for something, only absence of a negative feedback balance. Consequently, if you want me to post feedback for you, kindly leave yours first. You receive my money before I receive your item, and that by itself fulfills my end of the bargain. I NEVER LEAVE FEEDBACK _FIRST_ UNLESS IT'S NEGATIVE, and I suspect you don't want that. Nuff' sed.
