The Alfa Romeo passion started after getting my first Spider as a 40th birthday present from my wife. After spending most of my adolescence/early adulthood around these Italian machines,and more than 2 decades of waiting, I finally got one. I had one of the best AR mechanics here in San Diego who re-educated me about these cars, which brought back the passion that I once had for this particular marque of Italian engineering. With AR returning to the U.S. in 2009, these classic machines are going to be hot. While everyone will be driving the new Alfa's, the classics will be just that - a classic.
