The Mingus Dynasty


Charles Mingus

My page title is a reference to my cat, whose name is Mingus.  As you may have guessed, Mingus the cat is named after legendary jazz musician Charles Mingus.  There is no doubt that Mingus Khan, as he is so nicknamed, rules the house with an iron fist (or paw, if you will).  It is only appropriate that he would also rule the e-store.  The Khan's hobbies include chewing through shoe strings and placing napkins in his water bowl as often as possible.

Unfortunately, my father passed away a couple of years ago.  My mom and I have remained in the house I grew-up in, but now that I'm about to move to another city, it's time for her and Mingus to move to a smaller house.  It's truly amazing how many things three people and an imperial cat can accumulate over the course of 30 years.  That brings us to eBay.  In order to move to our respective locations, my mom and I must part with some of our belongings.  But hey, that's good news for you!  Hopefully, there are eBayers out there who will get as much enjoyment out of these things as we did.  Good luck and happy bidding!
