Hello! First, don't worry about my low feedback. I have been designing and selling handmades on eBay for 5 years now. I created a seperate account to keep the handmades seperate from the household 'garage sale' type items that clutter up my shoppe.
Handmade items are originals made by me, Susie from a not-so-small suburb of Austin, Texas. My sewing skills were inherited by my beautiful Grandma Ruble who passed away in 1997 at the ripe 'ol age of 92. Because of her graciousness and persistence I began sewing at the age of 4. That means I've been sewing for about 40 years now. God blessed me with the desire to create and that rolls over into every aspect of my life. My brain is usually on full throttle, speed ahead and the hands just can't sit still. In my early years, you could find me re-fashioning (is that a word?) mom's vintage dresses or lingerie into new items that we could not otherwise afford. Mom and grandpa were definite packrats and kept everything. As a kid I could be totally engaged for hours and days digging through boxes in their oversized closets and hope chests.
Thanks to the urging of my closest friend of 31 years, I started designing and selling on eBay in 2003. eBay has been a nice place to meet people in far away places and here at home in the U.S. Five years ago I would have never guessed that I would make friends with hundreds of talented designers and seamstresses across the world. It is my pleasure to create new and functional items for your cottage home. The best part is making all these goodies from pink , aqua and red. These colors just make life a little sweeter!! Thank you for perusing my shoppe and for helping support our modest Christian family.
Contact is appreciated within 3 days of auction end and payment in 7 days. If you are bidding on several items, let me know so your invoice will be held until your last item closes so you can take advantage of combined shipping. Money orders are accepted from members with 100% feedback and at least 10 feeback. No personal checks please, this just delays you receiving your item.
Combined shipping is offered on items closing within a reasonable amount of time. Packages are normally dropped at the post office every weekday and Saturdays during the holiday season. Shipping insurance is recommended and sometimes required. Sorry, ComfyCottage is not responsible for items lost or damaged if insurance isn't purchased. My full-time work schedule does not allow me the privilege of seeing the postmaster to handle customs documents, so I'm not currenty shipping internationally or to Canada.

The items offered at ComfyCottage may include "vintage" in the title or description. That means the item, or a portion of it, has probably been previously owned and/or used. Some fabrics and vintage finds have withstood the "test of time" so they deserve to be restyled into something fresh and new. If flaws are noticed they will be noted in the description. If your item is grossly misrepresented please let me know. I will do whatever I can to make your experience with ComfyCottage a wonderful one.
If you ever have questions of any kind or something isn't clear, please ask prior to bidding.
